Our Team - Justin Milne
Like Ian Morris, I have also worked in personal injury claims management for over 20 years. I first came into the industry in the early period of ‘No Win No Fee’ personal injury claims being available in the UK market, working with my late Father who was involved in the sector from the outset. Since then, the sector has seen vast changes including the introduction of regulatory oversight of the Claims Management sector. This has been really helpful to ensure that honest companies (which have always been the majority) can demonstrate that they operate within the strict regulatory framework, enabling the special clients of Direct2Compensation to have every confidence in us and our specialist Solicitors.
I have gained great experience and knowledge of the rights of claimants and the claims process through the roles that I have worked in during my 20 plus years in personal injury claims management, leading to my current position as co-owner and Director of this company, managing our panel of specialist personal injury Solicitors along with my duties of handling client files. I am confident in the needs of the clients who come to us, their rights in personal injury and what our specialist Solicitors are able to do to assist our clients to succeed with their claims.
I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity learn and develop my knowledge and skills with my Father’s business, in which I was able to also gain experience of Business Management as well as personal injury expertise. I’ve served in Business Development roles as well as holding Directorships, ensuring that I can now provide an excellent service to our clients and Solicitors whilst maintaining a robust business here with Ian.
One thing Ian and I have always had in common is that we want to be a business that puts ethics at the top of what we do – honesty, transparency and fairness. We have seen numerous other businesses in this sector fail claimants and Solicitors alike and we’ve had to fight hard to demonstrate that we deserve a trusted reputation and with this in mind, we make sure that anyone working with us and indeed our specialist Solicitor panel members also uphold these same standards. The feedback we receive as a result of the way we work and the service we provide prove that our belief in honesty and fairness works for all concerned. We are rightly very proud of our reputation.
We hope that our website gives you a clear understanding of us as people, but more importantly of our knowledge and expertise in personal injury. The site is designed to be full of helpful information needing help or advice about making a personal injury claim and we’re here to answer any questions you may have.
As Ian has said, we focus on our own organic marketing efforts rather than allowing 3rd parties to bring clients to our attention. We believe that this modus operandi allows us to keep control and ensure that our ethics and core values are always at the forefront of what we do. The proof of course, is in the pudding – in this case, the pudding is not our balance sheet or turnover, but the reviews and feedback we get from our clients and Solicitors. This positive feedback really helps to maintain our motivation to always strive to continue our efforts to always do better and be even more helpful.
Perhaps one of the most important things to us is ensuring that people injured in accidents understand their rights in terms of making a claim for personal injury compensation in order to give as many people as possible the confidence to make their claim if they have suffered an injury through no fault of their own or due to the negligence of a 3rd party or employer. We’re really fortunate in that the strong relationships we’ve built with our specialist Solicitors off the back of our proven track record and honest service is that we can always get you the legal advice you need regarding your own specific accident or claim circumstances. If you have a question that we’re not sure how to answer, our specialist personal injury solicitors are more than happy to provide guidance and advice.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am engaged to my beautiful fiance. We have two beautiful teenage daughters and a younger Son. We are planning our wedding and looking forward to many happy years together. Outside of work, I am also a keen snowboarder and I also enjoy off-roading and going to the football with my identical twin brother. If you have any questions or need any advice about claiming personal injury compensation (even if you’ve already made a claim elsewhere), please email me: justin@direct2compensation.co.uk.
